Did you know Vim started on the Amiga?
This is the best way to get the latest version that doesn't involve AppImages. I love AppImages for desktop apps, but not for shell stuff like this.
You'll need to do this if you're using nvim-treesitter and it's complaining every time you open a file. You probably have a version of NeoVim older than 0.8.
