Muting a sound source while talking

  • Add a Compressor filter to the other sound source
  • Increase the Ratio to at least 10:1
  • Decrease the Threshold to at least -30 dB
  • Decrease the Attack to 1ms
  • Increase the Decay to 1000ms
  • Sidechain/Duck to your mic
